Mateus Mutemba

Mateus holds a degree in History from Universidade Eduardo Mondlane, in Maputo, a postgraduate degree in Development Management and a Master’s in Public Policy, with a specialization in Development Management, from the Australian National University, in Canberra. He is currently a member of the International Coordinating Board of the Program UNESCO Man and Biosphere.

Previously he was Director General of the National Administration of Conservation Areas, Ministry of Land and Environment, Mozambique, Director of Gorongosa National Park and the Board of the Grongosa Restoration Project, USA.
